This contemporary sword has a relatively narrow(1 5/16") but comparatively long (40 1/2") blade. It has excellent balance, the  POB is at 5". It is a product of the fine forging Damascus processes with hard steel core sandwiched between two soft steel layers.  The sharply defined ridge of the blade thins evenly to the edges, and curves broadly to a tip. Due to the materials and the processes used, the blade is fairly elastic.  This sword shows the beauty of a long sword. Straight lines are straight, and curvatures on both side of the blade are symmetrical.  It has a perfect geometry.

The handle is beautifully sculptured. Four lions playfully charge against one another. The guard is made of heavy brass cable twisting together to produce a ring-in-ring pattern within which are two lions compete to reach a bright and shining crystalline ball of mixed orange, red and white colors. Connector to the handle is also decorated with crystalline stones of bluish lapis color. The pommel is characterized by a circular platform overlying upon the end of the handle. On top of the platform there is a sitting lion carrying a large brass ball.

The scabbard is made of mahogany wood and has gone through fine polishing. Eight pieces of brass fittings were mounted on the wooden scabbard. They produced a harmony decoration.

This is a truly beautiful sword especially withnarrow and long blade.
