This antique Tibetan Saber as shown is an antique saber of  Qing Dynasty. It was manually forged with sanmei layering construction of a hard steel sandwiched by cheeks of mild steel.   The mist texture interlocked grains and flowlines are results carful quenching and thermal treatment.  The tip of the blade is in its original shape, and only received mild polishing enhancement.  All polishing by hand with grindstone, sandpaper, and abrasive powder. no chemical been used.  

The handle and all fittings are original and also in good condition. The scabbard  made of precious old oriental mahogany  in accordance with the style of  original one.
